Amber Room The Golden Legend House
From all of the lost world's treasures, Amber room is one of the most famous. It is a room that was built completely laminated from yellow gold and gold leaf. It is amazingly beautiful that has long been known as the eighth wonder of the World. The building was built in 1709 and was the place of the King of Prussia until he gave as a present for the Russian Tsar Peter the Great in 1716. The amber room remained in Russia for over two hundred years and then disappeared.

When the Nazis invaded Leningrad (St Petersburg) in 1941, the Soviets tried to hide their famous treasure. However, Nazi was not easily fooled. It took only 36 hours to take the contents of Amber Room into the chest and brought it with the train. It was taken to the German city, Konigsberg. When the war ended in 1945, the Soviets tried to reclaim again the Amber Room. Unfortunately, the eighth wonder of the World was never seen again.
Over the past sixty years, countless rumors have been made about the existence of Amber Room. Some people said that it was destroyed in the bombing of Konigsberg and some people even claimed that it was buried somewhere in the Ore Mountains or buried in a submarine which sank to the bottom of the Baltic Sea. Recently, the German treasure hunters said that they have found a forgotten underground cave that contained Nazi gold. They believed that the Amber Room was also hidden inside. In fact, Opening the cave will be difficult because it is known that Nazi put a mine in their treasure with explosives.
